Get to know
Dr. Albert Soulema
Hi! I’m Dr. Albert. I would like to personally welcome you to our office. I am so happy to be here in Simi Valley: the mountains, the Library, and above all, the people. Make yourself comfortable and relaxed as we take this journey together.
I have always loved the fusion of science, art and technology. Crafting lifelong smiles has been a way for me to combine all three. Nothing is more satisfying than seeing my patients improve their confidence, health, and function.
I am a Board Certified Orthodontic Specialist and Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, which means I have taken every step in my commitment to deliver you the best care and results. I have extensive experience treating patients of all ages, from early orthodontic treatment for young patients to innovative solutions for adults.
I graduated cum laude in Biological Sciences from the University of Southern California and continued my studies at USC where I earned my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Upon graduation, I was accepted to and completed a year-long residency in hospital dentistry at the West Los Angeles VA Medical Center.
After practicing general dentistry for some time, I moved to New York City where I completed a 3 year residency in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics from St. Barnabas Hospital. Orthodontics has given me the opportunity to form long lasting relationships with my patients.
In my spare time I enjoy watching live theater, rooting for the Dodgers and Lakers, and exercising. My most memorable physical accomplishment was completing an Ironman race. Family is very important to me, and I enjoy spending time with my wife, Emily, and German Shepherd dog, Bailey.

To get the full picture of your smile, we’ll take a 3D x-ray, digital scan, complimentary CBCT scan, and any necessary photos. You’ll get a one-on-one consultation with our 5-star, board-certified orthodontist, Dr. Albert!
Any time you’re in an exam chair, you can tune into your personal ceiling-mounted TV; and on your way out, don’t forget to snag a refreshing drink.
Affordable Smiles
We’ll help you make the best treatment decision for your smile and lifestyle. Once your treatment choice is secured, we’ll calculate your insurance coverage and work out a financing plan with 0% interest. No insurance? We’re here to make it work.

Our Advanced Technology
We are passionate about delivering only the best orthodontic care there is.
That is why we utilize:
• Digital scanners – a device that our technicians use to scan your teeth so that we can view them in 3D on a computer. They help achieve better outcomes with both braces and aligners.
• 3D printers – once your teeth are scanned, they can be printed into a real life model using 3D printers. This allows for closer study of your teeth as well as fabrication of orthodontic appliances.
• 3D X-rays (CBCT – Cone Beam Computed Tomography) – You can’t diagnose what you can’t see. 3D X-rays allow for evaluation of your teeth, roots, and all supporting structures in 3D.
